Junior Paid Advertising Manager

Role: Permanent

Level: Junior

Location: Cape Town

Job Description

The role of Junior Paid Advertising Manager at Shift ONE will require someone with a basic understanding of paid digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager,  etc.

Key deliverables would include but are not limited to:

  • Setup and management of all PPC campaigns
  • Daily management and optimisation of all PPC campaign
  • Client management and communication
  • Weekly client status reports to clients
  • Monthly reporting
  • Client meetings when needed

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in the above role
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Adwords knowledge and experience
  • Facebook Business Manager knowledge and experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Google Certified Training or relevant experience
  • SEO Knowledge
  • Understanding keywords and keyword research

INTERNSHIP: PHOTOGRAPHY & FILM

We are looking for a Film and Photography Student who is very creative and loves to work on exciting projects.

This individual will work with a team of young, bright, eager creatives who love what they do, who are learning fast and who work on projects for big brands and fast growing entrepreneurs.

The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Filming & Editing

  • Filming
    • Filming of clients as required
    • Understanding of creative filming techniques
  • Editing
    • Creative editing of film
    • Research of Trends
      • Stay up to date with latest trends in film arts and visual communications
      • Share trends with the team

Photography

  • Shooting appropriate images for social media
  • Editing of images on Photoshop

Social Media

  • Posting content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Staying up to date with trends and best practice
  • Researching hashtags
  • Advising on the new trends, trending hashtags, opportunities, ideas

Creative Conceptualisation

  • Work with the creative team in order to conceptualise the direction of the work being done

Skills Requirements

  • Good knowledge of film and editing
  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Premier editing suites

Equipment

  • Please provide your own equipment , camera and editing software

    • Take site live following strict go-live processes

    • Deal direct with client to update on project progress, and if any issues arise

PERMANENT: CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Job level: Junior to Middleweight

Education: Undergraduate or post graduate in copywriting, digital marketing or marketing

You need to be able to write, and write well, to get this job as writing is the basis of all that you'll be doing in this role.

The Content & Social Media Manager has a thorough understanding of social media marketing and should have 3 or more years experience working on social media content plans, article writing and social media management.

The candidate should have completed college or university in a relevant field.

The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
